Nothing is more irritating than noticing your Blog Admin panel or your blog web site going down. I’ve had problems myself before and that was mainly because of having plugins installed all over the blog. Following are my Top 5 suggestions in dealing with plugins, to keep Wordpress Blogs up and running smoothly.

Try not to overload your Blog with Plugins. This not only creates a hell a lot of problem in maintaining it, but also slows down your blog as time goes.
Even if you want to have some plugins, please make sure that it works by testing almost every navigation in your blog site.
Give some time to the newly installed plugins. Even if you feel it worked well, some plugins take time to show their errors.
Have an excel sheet and maintain all the plugins that you’ve installed. Please make a note of all the issues you’ve come accross for a plugin installed. That will help you and also others if you can post it in your blog.
Before you upgrade to latest Wordpress versions, please make sure that all your previous Wordpress Plugins are compatible with it. I’ve upgraded my Wordpress version to 2.6. Here is a list of Compatible wordpress plugins for Wordpress 2.6.

I can hear those loud yells with the “I wanna become a Blog King” answer. Of course, I am yelling myself here LOL. Everyone wants to become the king but truly, there are only certain key items that can get you close. They are nothing but a positive mindset, a clear vision and a passion to succeed. When I first started to blog, it was almost around 2 years back but back then, I was more like a child who happens to see a lolly pop. I still remember those days when I started using e-Mails at work. There would be a flag animation showing you got a mail. I was literally flying. Being a techie person myself, still those are sweet memories when the Internet Revolution actually started.

Now, blogging has taken us all to a totally new planet where you can visualize some millions of aliens (not really hehe) buzzing around with their own interests. Many are successfully buzzing and many have gone back from this new planet to mother earth again (pretty human nature huh). But if you keenly notice on who succeeded, they were nothing but humans with a passion and patience to succeed.
